Our combined pressure and temperature transducer of the TPS series are fit for application in process and control technology.This series of transducers cleverly combines our roven measuring technology of stainless steel with our temperature measurement, providing separate signals for both temperature and pressure independently of each other. This makes it a very robust product that can also be applied in very challenging industrial environments.

The combined TPSI transducer, equipped with an internal temperature sensor, has excellent properties thanks to its stainless-steel membrane and its semiconductor thin-film technology. Its stainless-steel membrane is absolutely vacuum-tight and extremely burst-proof. Its robust design guarantees its high reliability even in very rugged conditions. Its outer appearance is identical to the SML series; however, its re-design allowed integrating a separate temperature sensor. The defined measuring range for the temperature signal (-50…150°C) delivers a fix signal between (0.25…4.75) V. The measuring sensor has been placed close to the medium so that it can provide sufficiently precise and swift information of the medium temperature in most applications. The precision of the temperature signal is 1%; however, it cannot be measured directly in the medium, which requires considering a remaining difference between the signal measured and the real temperature of the medium. The time constant value for setting the temperature value is dependent on the heat input by the medium itself, usually ≤2 minute.
