How do I actually connect a pressure sensor to a computer ???
... just plug and play!

The latest development from ADZ NAGANO measures up to date - a pressure transmitter with a serial interface in the form of a USB-A connector.
Based on the generic drivers of the used computer operating system, this type of sensor can be connected to any common computer - just plug and play!
Measurement data can be recorded and processed using simple commands.
Using macros or a terminal, it is quickly and easily possible to record and log very precise measurement data at any time.
The data can be transmitted in a special measuring mode in a rhythm of ~ 2ms.

Hydrogen - energy source of the future ???
…lets go!

Hydrogen is already widely used and is increasingly establishing itself as an energy carrier ... not only for the future.
However, the production, storage and transport place increased demands on all the materials that are in contact therewith.
ADZ NAGANO has been offering sensors for pressure measurement and monitoring of hydrogen for a long time.
The recently obtained approval according to the European Directive EC79 now officially seals the suitability of our sensors for measuring hydrogen pressure with nominal pressures between vacuum and 700 bar.
This means that nothing stands in the way of direct use in fuel cells, in low-pressure systems of reactors or reformers, or in high-pressure storage tanks.

What forces say about pressures

With the introduction of force sensors in 2019, we added an important product to our sensor portfolio.
Sometimes detours are needed to reach the goal.
Force measurement can help where reproducible pressure measurement is difficult for process engineering reasons.
By means of a force transmitter, the force applied is mechanically introduced into a titanium-sensor element, whereby it is directly measurable.
Forces of up to 300 N can be measured with high precision as standard (accuracy ± 2.00% FS).
As always with ADZ NAGANO, customers can choose from numerous mechanical connections, plugs and output signals.
However, the very small design is outstanding!
It enables simple integration in lifting and weighing technology, tools and in mobile and safety-relevant systems.

This award, combined with the seal shown "Innovative through research", is awarded by the Stifterverband, one of the largest private science sponsors in Germany. Since 2014, it has been awarded to research-based companies that assume special responsibility for the state and society.

Greetings at the turn of the year

In December the time has come to look back on the year. In addition to the ongoing corona pandemic, new challenges also emerged ...limited material availability and global logistics problems versus increased customer demand should be mentioned here as a substitute. But all of this takes a back seat if you reflect on personal fate. Such thoughts usually shape the run-up to Christmas and quickly recede out of focus with the turn of the year. To counteract this, ADZ NAGANO GmbH has come up with something special this year. With the adoption of the first annual sponsorship for a parent's room, the Sonnenstrahl e.V. (www.sonnenstrahl-ev.org) in Dresden and at the same time its protégés and their families are supported for a whole year. As a room sponsor, ADZ NAGANO pays a large part of the maintenance costs for the premises that enable parents and relatives to support their children during cancer therapy. ADZ NAGANO GmbH is one of the experts in the global market for pressure, temperature and force measurement technology when it comes to customer and application-specific special solutions. The Sonnenstrahl e.V. is an expert in questions and assistance in dealing with all the accompanying circumstances that cancer brings in children and adolescents. "grand finale" or "we're going to do it sportily ..."

Depending on the direction of view, very different words can describe what is currently going on in the management of ADZ NAGANO.
After more than 20 years of very successful management, Wolfgang Dürfeld and Dietmar Arndt officially hand over the management of the company to their sons Mario Dürfeld and Hannes Georgi on January 1st, 2021.
From the personal perspective of the senior managing directors, this step may seem like a "grand finale".
After all, they have made the company what it is today: an attractive employer for over 100 employees and valued representatives of German medium-sized companies that customers around the world have trusted for decades.
From the point of view of the new managing directors, it is important to fill in huge footsteps with the "baton takeover", combined with responsibility for customers, partners, suppliers and employees.
But also combined with the responsibility to preserve what has been achieved and to lead it successfully into the future.
Hannes and Mario face these challenges with strength, competence and experience as well as drive and joy.
The official exchange is indeed the final act of a very long-term and actual organizational project but no more ... because the race goes on!
The young managing directors have been introduced to their target functions over many years and have now grown very well and in daily training.
There will certainly be further changes in the future, but customers, partners, suppliers and employees will hardly feel this or only slowly.
We wish all four all the best for their personal future, thank Wolfgang Dürfeld and Dietmar Arndt for what they have achieved and look forward to working together under the direction of Hannes and Mario.

Everything different in 2021 ??? ... our website already!

2020 was marked in particular by the corona pandemic and their circumstances.
It is to hope and wish that all efforts will serve to cope with the associated challenges.
With this in mind, we wish all employees and families of our customers, partner companies and suppliers especially health for the New Year.
But we also wish strength, satisfaction and happiness for success.

Our company ADZ NAGANO also felt the effects of the pandemic.
